Delete Your Account: Direct Links for 2,700 Sites

Search any site or app to jump straight to the page that deletes your account. Each entry shows how hard the site makes it, and where to download your data before you go.

How to use it

Search for the site, then follow its Delete account link. The colour shows how hard the site makes it. Easy is a button in settings. Hard usually means contacting support. Impossible means the site says it cannot delete accounts. Some sites only accept a request by email: the link then opens a ready-written message you can edit before sending.

Before you delete, download your data where the site allows it. Photos, messages and purchase history are often gone for good afterwards.

Check the link before you sign in. These links are collected by volunteers and sites change their pages. If a page asks for your password, make sure the address bar shows the real site. Never follow a deletion link from an email you did not expect.

Deleting an account is not the same as removing your data

Closing an account removes your profile. It does not pull your details out of data brokers and people-search sites, which collect them from other sources. For those, see our guide to removing yourself from Google and the Optery vs DeleteMe comparison. California residents can use the free DROP service.

Where the list comes from

The deletion links come from JustDeleteMe, and the data-download links from JustGetMyData. Both are open community projects released under the MIT licence (JustDeleteMe licence, JustGetMyData licence). We copied their data on 5 November 2026 and refresh it periodically. To correct an entry, contribute it to those projects.

Frequently asked questions

How do I permanently delete an account?

Search for the site here and follow its Delete account link. Many sites wait 14 to 30 days before the deletion is final, and logging in during that time can cancel it.

Why is a site marked impossible?

The site has said it does not delete accounts, or offers no way to do it. You can often still remove your details and stop the emails. In the EU and UK, the GDPR gives you a right to erasure you can invoke by email.

Should I download my data first?

Yes, if you might want it later. Photos, messages and order history are usually deleted with the account. The Get my data link appears where the site offers an export.

Does deleting accounts remove me from people-search sites?

No. People-search and data-broker sites gather details from other sources. Use their own opt-out pages, a removal service, or California's DROP if you live there.

Is this list complete and up to date?

No list is. It covers about 2,700 sites from the JustDeleteMe and JustGetMyData projects, copied on 5 November 2026. Sites change their pages, so check each link before you sign in.
